Top-selling novelist and Boston TV personality Hank Phillippi Ryan keynotes with the 2014 Write Stuff conference theme, “IT’S ALL ABOUT the STORY”. This annual conference, presented by the Greater Lehigh Valley Writers Group, offers valuable opportunities to network with and learn from published authors, agents, editors, and other writers.
Pre-conference seminars are offered for writers wanting a deeper level of guidance in craft or marketing. This year we feature two popular novelists, an agent/children’s author, and two experts on cutting-edge marketing and publishing.
The main conference starts Friday night and includes the very popular Page Cuts (first-page critique sessions with the pros), a Founders Panel presented by GLVWG president Melba Tolliver, and a Welcome Reception where agents, presenters and conferees mingle over Hors d'oeuvres and beverage. Saturday sessions arm writers with information about ways to improve and market fiction/non-fiction writing. The day includes an agent-panel, keynote lunch , and closes with book signings by presenters. Book Fair runs through the day. Saturday breakfast and lunch are included in the cost of the conference.
Agent and editor appointments are available during the regular session times on Saturday, and must be registered for in advance.
Registration starts in January and ends March 9 (or sooner if we reach capacity--we've sold out three of the past four years). Visit our website for more information: http://greaterlehighvalleywritersgroup.wildapricot.org/WriteStuff
