Russell Scott Valentino is a scholar, editor, writer, and translator based in Bloomington, Indiana. He is senior editor at Autumn Hill Books and a contributing editor at the Buenos Aires Review. He currently serves as Vice President of the American Literary Translators Association.

Esther Allen has translated more than twenty books, including the Penguin Classics anthology Jose Marti: Selected Writings. An associate professor at Baruch College, CUNY, she is co-editor, with Susan Bernofsky, of In Translation: Translators on Their Work and What It Means (2013).

Bill Johnston's translation of Polish writer Wieslaw Mysliwski's novel Stone Upon Stone won the PEN Translation Prize and the Best Translated Book Award in 2012. He is currently a Guggenheim Fellow. He teaches literary translation at Indiana University.

Elizabeth Harris's Italian translations include Mario Rigoni Stern's novel, Giacomo's Seasons, and Giulio Mozzi's story collection, This is the Garden. She received a PEN/Heim Translation Grant for Antonio Tabucchi's Tristano Dies. She teaches creative writing at the University of North Dakota.

Susan Bernofsky directs the literary translation program at the Columbia University School of the Arts, chairs the PEN Translation Committee, and writes the blog Translationista. She is co-editor, with Esther Allen, of the anthology In Translation: Translators on Their Work And What It Means.
