Meet some of the most important minds in the Twitterverse as they share experiences as literary citizens in 140 characters or less. Whether advocating for increased visibility or enjamb-ing your horoscope, these panelists will talk about their approach to digital communication and how you can create a platform of your own.

Moderator:

Analicia Sotelo is the author of the collection of poetry, Virgin, and the chapbook, Nonstop Godhead. She earned her MFA from the University of Houston and currently works for Writers in the Schools in Houston, Texas.

Dorothea Lasky is the author of five books of poetry, including the forthcoming Milk and most recently Rome. She is an assistant professor of poetry and codirector of Columbia Artist/Teachers at Columbia University's School of the Arts.

Ruben Quesada is the author of Next Extinct Mammal and Luis Cernuda: Exiled from the Throne of Night. He is a poet and a freelance editor. He is currently editor of Queen Mob's Teahouse.

Kaveh Akbar is founding editor of Divedapper. His poems appear in Poetry, APR, Ploughshares, Tin House, and elsewhere. The recipient of a Ruth Lilly & Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Fellowship from the Poetry Foundation, Kaveh's first book, Calling a Wolf a Wolf, will be out with Alice James Books in 2017.
