Katheryn Gallant was born and raised in Southern California. She received her bachelor of arts in liberal studies from California State University, Los Angeles. She has written for Brazzil and the Journal of Liberal History but primarily writes upmarket historical fiction and alternate history with real-life female protagonists. When not writing, she enjoys puns and matching her wits with contestants while watching Jeopardy! on TV. She shares a home in Southern California with her mother, brother, and three cats.
