Thatcher Carter is a fiction and creative nonfiction writer based in Riverside, California, where she teaches at her local community college. She has a Ph.D. in English and wrote her dissertation about autobiographies by women living with breast cancer. Her essay “Hard to Read You” was published in 3elements, and she is hard at work on her first novel. She lives with her husband and their Springer Spaniel, Molly.
