Stephanie George

Spring 2019 Session

Stephanie George is a storyteller, curator, and grassroots fundraiser from the Bronx, NY. Across mediums, she creates spaces that grapple with notions of home, belonging, and remembering. In her poetry, she insists the body can still feel—still remember—home across temporalities, lifetimes, and forms. Stephanie holds a B.A. in Africana Studies from Vassar College and works at Materials for the Arts in Queens, NY.
