Kendra Vanderlip

Spring 2018 Session

Kendra L. Vanderlip was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is finishing her final year as a nonfiction candidate at The University of Memphis in Memphis, TN. She earned her BA from Grand Valley State University, in Allendale, Michigan. She has worked in multiple positions for the Pinch, the MFA’s literary journal, most recently as Managing Editor. She was an AWP Intro Awards nominee in poetry in 2015 and won the University of New Orleans Study Abroad Scholarship for Nonfiction in 2016. She has work in Whiskey Island.
