Jena Favinger

Fall 2017 Session

Jena Favinger is a South Florida poet. She studied English and creative writing at Florida Atlantic University, receiving a bachelor’s degree and a publication in the university’s literary magazine, Coastlines. Her poetry explores womanhood and multiracial identity through the dream images of her childhood in Florida and her time living on the road, camping public lands throughout the US.

Jena Favinger worked with the poet Honorée Fanonne Jeffers.
