Amy Sugeno has enjoyed two careers, first as a wildlife biologist and later as a mental health therapist and ecotherapist. She lives west of Austin in the Texas Hill Country, where she spends most of her time writing and homeschooling her son. Amy’s essays have appeared in Glassworks, Sisyphus, and Leaping Clear. She is currently working on a collection of creative nonfiction essays about nature, mindfulness, and adoption.
