Winner of the Italo Calvino Prize Announced

The University of Louisville is happy to announce that the first winner of the annual Italo Calvino Prize in Fabulist Fiction is Kenneth Calhoun of Durham, North Carolina.  The prize consists of $1,000, publication in The Salt Hill Journal, and a public reading at The University of Louisville’s annual Twentieth Century Literature Conference.
