Winner of the 2005 Narrative Prize Announced

Pia Z. Ehrhardt of New Orleans won the 2005 Narrative Prize for her short story “Famous Fathers.” She received a $4,000 award and appeared with James Salter and 2004 Narrative Prize winner Min Jin Lee at a Narrative Magazine reading in New York City. Her story and an author profile are featured permanently in Narrative Magazine online.  The annual prize is awarded to the best work of fiction or nonfiction by an emerging writer published in Narrative, as judged by the magazine's editors.
