2:30 p.m.— Make time in your schedule for the Native American Heritage '23:"Honoring Our Ancestors Pow Wow" Documentary. This film was produced by Tejon Indian Tribe and recorded during the Tejon Tribe's fourth annual Pow Wow at CSU, Bakersfield. Registration is free, and this event will take place online.

Tuesday, November 14

3:00 p.m.— Give your mind, body, and spirit a full-body workout and celebrate Native American history with SPECIAL EVENT: Native American Heritage Month with Notorious Cree. Notorious Cree is a fitness instructor, TikTok influencer, and traditional hoop instructor. Learn about powwows, health, peace, wellness, and other facets of the Native American community. Wednesday, November 15

11:00 a.m.— The Indigenous Studies Discussion Group presents: Writers’ perspectives on exile and diaspora. Speakers include Katharina Galor, Sa’ed Atshan, and Menna Agha, with moderation from Christos Nikolaou. Registration is free, and this event will take place online.

6:00 p.m.— Join Dr. Amy Gore for Virtual Lecture: Book Anatomy: The Body Politics of Indigenous Book History. Dr. Gore will discuss the links between books, bodies, and Indigenous book history through her newest monograph Book Anatomy: Body Politics and the Materiality of Indigenous Book History.
