The Quebec Writers Federation has released the short list for the 2017 Quebec Literary Awards, which will be awarded mid-November, the Montreal Gazette reported. The awards honor English-language authors in Quebec, and recognize achievements in fiction, poetry, nonfiction, first books, children's and young adult literature, and translations. The winners will be honored at a gala on November 21.
