Carolina Hinojosa-Cisneros is a Chicana, Tejana, and Mujerista writer. Her work explores the intersection of faith and Latinidad. Her work has appeared in On Being, The Acentos Review, The Rumpus, Latina Outsiders: Remaking Latina Identity, among others. She is a Jack Sr. and Doris McCord Smother Scholar at Our Lady of the Lake University where she is in pursuit of an MA/MFA with emphases in literature, creative writing, and social justice. She is also the 2019 recipient of the Rubem Alves Award in Theopoetics.
