FAYLITA HICKS (she/they) is the author of HoodWitch (Acre Books, 2019), a finalist for the 2020 Lambda Literary Award, A Map of My Want (Haymarket, 2024), and A Body of Wild Light (Haymarket, 2025). The winner of Palette Poetry’s 2020 Sappho Award, they are currently based in Chicago.
