Jill Talbot is the author of The Last Year: Essays, based on her year-long column in The Paris Review Daily and Winner of the Wandering Aengus Editor’s Prize in Nonfiction, as well as The Way We Weren’t: A Memoir and Loaded: Women and Addiction, a collection of personal essays. Her essays have appeared in AGNI, Brevity, Gulf Coast, Hotel Amerika, Lit Mag, River Teeth, Southwest Review, The Rumpus, and The Paris Review Daily, among others. She is Associate Professor and a University Distinguished Teaching Professor at the University of North Texas.
