Joseph Cassara is the author of the novel The House of Impossible Beauties (Ecco/HarperCollins, 2018), which won the Publishing Triangle's Edmund White Award for Debut Fiction, and the National Arts & Entertainment Journalism Award for Best Fiction Book, and is a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award for Gay Fiction. He has received fellowships from MacDowell and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the California State University, Fresno.
