Doug Ramspeck is the author of nine collections of poetry, two collections of short stories, and a novella. His most recent book, Blur (2023), received the Tenth Gate Prize and is published by The Word Works. Individual poems and stories have appeared in journals that include The Southern Review, The Missouri Review, Kenyon Review, Slate, The Sun, Iowa Review, and The Georgia Review. His short story “Balloon” was listed as a Distinguished Story for 2018 in The Best American Short Stories. He is a three-time recipient of an Ohio Arts Council Individual Excellence Award, twice for poetry and once for fiction. His author website can be found at dougramspeck.com.
