Roxi Power has taught for 25 years at UC Santa Cruz where she edits the Viz. Inter-Arts anthology series. Her books include The Songs that Objects Would Sing (2023) and Knot Narrative (forthcoming 2024). She podcasts for The Hive Poetry Collective.and performs live film narration (Neo-Benshi) nationally, at the New Orleans Poetry Festival, the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Festival, Roy and edna Disney CalArts Theater, St. Mark's Poetry Project, and many universities.  She regularly organizes trans-genre cabarets across the country and annually, as AWP Offsite events. Power has been an academic labor organizer for over 20 years.
