Genevieve Kaplan is the author of In the ice house (Red Hen Press, 2011), winner of the A Room of Her Own Foundation poetry prize, and settings for these scenes (Convulsive Editions, 2013), a chapbook of continual erasures. Travelogue, a chapbook written during and responding to Bloomsday festivities in Ireland, is available from Dancing Girl Press, and her recent project In an aviary was recently released from Grey Book Press. Her poems and reviews have appeared in numerous print and online journals including New American Writing, Copper Nickel, Denver Quarterly, BOAAT, and Sugar House Review; her essays investigating the intersections between artists' books and contemporary poetry can be found at Post45: Contemporaries and Opon. She lives in southern California where she coordinates the Kingsley & Kate Tufts Poetry Awards at Claremont Graduate University and edits the Toad Press International chapbook series, publishing contemporary translations of poetry and prose.
