Mardi Jo Link is the author of, Bootstrapper (Knopf), and Isadore's Secret (U of Mich.), both of which were named Michigan Notable Books. Bootstrapper has been optioned for film by Academy Award winning actress Rachel Weisz. Mardi lives in northern Michigan.
