Wendy Wimmer's writing has appeared in Blackbird, Per Contra, Barrelhouse, Drunken Boat, Paper Darts, and other publications. She holds a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and was a Black Mountain Institute PhD fellow at UNLV. She is the co-founder of UntitledTown Book and Author Festival. Her short story collection ENTRY LEVEL: STORIES received the 2021 Autumn House  Fiction Prize and was published in 2022.
