Kevin Prufer is the author of six books, most recently Churches, In a Beautiful Country, and National Anthem.  The editor of numerous volumes, he is Professor of English in the Creative Writing Program at the University of Houston.  He also teaches in the Lesley Low-Residency MFA Program.
