Marilyn Kallet is the author of 16 books, including The Love That Moves Me, poetry from Black Widow Press, 2013, and translations from the French of Paul Eluard's Last Love Poems and Benjamin Péret's The Big Game.  She is the first Nancy Moore Goslee Professor of English at the University of Tennessee, where she also directs the creative writing program.  She teaches poetry workshops for the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts in Auvillar, France.Dr. Kallet has received the Tennessee Arts Commission Literary Fellowship in Poetry, and was inducted into the East Tennessee Literary Hall of Fame in Poetry in 2005.  She has performed her poetry on campuses and in theaters around the United States, and in France and Poland, as a guest of the U.S. Embassy's "America Presents" cultural programs.
