Ricco Villanueva Siasoco has been published fiction and essays in Joyland, The North American Review, Drunken Boat, Memorious, Flyway, and ArchitectureBoston, among others. His work has been anthologized in Walang Hiya: Literature Taking Risks Toward Liberatory Practice (Carayan Press, 2010), Screaming Monkeys (Coffee House Press, 2003), and Take Out: Queer Writing from Asian Pacific America (Asian American Writers Workshop, 2000). He has received fellowships from The Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, The LEF Foundation, and PEN New England, and holds a M.F.A. from the Bennington Writing Seminars. He has taught creative writing at Boston College, Massachusetts College of Art, and the University of Massachusetts Boston.
