Owen Lewis’s poetry has appeared in Nimrod, the Mississippi Review, The Connecticut River Review, The Adirondack Review, Peregrine, Four Way Review, The Cumberland Review and other publications. Honors include First Prize, 2023 Rumi Prize for Poetry/Arts & Letters; First Prize, 2023 Guernsey International Poetry Prize,  First Prize 2016 Hippocrates International Prize for Poetry and MedicineWigtown International Poetry Competition (Scotland), Finalist 2017 Pablo Neruda Award. He is a physician and Professor of Psychiatry in Medical Humanities and Ethics at Columbia University. His most recent book is Field Light, 2020 (Dos Madres Press) was a Must Read Selection for the Mass Book Awards and a Distinguish Favourite of the NewYorkBigBook Awards. Other publications include Marriage Map, 2017 (Dos Madres Press), a chapbook March In San Miguel, published in 2012, his debut full length collection Sometimes Full of Daylight, in 2013, and another chapbook best man in 2015 which received the Jean Pendrick Chapbook Prize of the New England Poetry Club.
