Katie Manning

California, United States

Katie Manning, upon first seeing a rhinoceros at the zoo at age 2, declared to her mother, "I want to be one of those when I grow up!" Although she has yet to realize this dream, she is happily employed  as an Assistant Professor of English at Azusa Pacific University. Her poems have been published in New Letters, PANK, The Pedestal Magazine, Poet Lore, REAL, and So to Speak, among other journals and anthologies. She has three poetry chapbooks coming out in 2013: The Gospel of the Bleeding Woman (Point Loma Press), I Awake in My Womb (Yellow Flag Press), and Tea with Ezra (Boneset Books).
