Christina Milletti's fiction and articles have appeared in many journals and anthologies, such as Harcourt's Best New American Voices, The Master's Review Anthology: Best Emerging Writers, Denver Quarterly, The Cincinnati Review, Alaska Quarterly, American Letters & Commentary, Studies in the Novel, and Fiction’s Present: Situating Narrative Innovation (among other places). Her collection of short stories, The Religious & Other Fictions, was published by Carnegie Mellon University Press. She recently finished a novel called Choke Box: a Fem-Noir, a selection of which was published in story form in Akashic Books’ Buffalo Noir and recollected in Year’s Best Mystery Stories 2016 (alongside the work of Joyce Carol Oates and Mary Higgins Clark). She is now completing a new collection of stories, Girling Seasons, with the help of a fellowship from UB’s Humanities Institute and a residency at the Marble House Project. She is an Associate Professor of English at the University at Buffalo where she curates the Exhibit X Fiction Series and helped to found UB's new MA in English/Innovative Writing program.
