Magdalena Zurawski’s most recent publications include The Tiniest Muzzle Sings Songs of Freedom (Wave Books 2019) and the chapbooks Don’t Be Scared (Operating System 2019) and Being Human is an Occult Practice (Ugly Duckling Presse 2020). Companion Animal was published by Litmus Press in 2015 and won a Norma Faber First Book Award from the Poetry Society of America. Her novel The Bruise appeared from FC2 in 2008.  During the 2022-23 she was a Fulbright Scholar in Poland, where she was conducting research for a new book project on post memory. Zurawski teaches in the Creative Writing Program at the University of Georgia.
