Sybil Baker is the author of Immigration Essays, The Life Plan, Talismans, and Into This World, a finalist for Foreword’s Best Book of the Year Award. Recent work has appeared in Guernica, Glimmer Train, The Nervous Breakdown, and The Collagist. She teaches at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and was on faculty of the first international MFA Program at City University of Hong Kong and teaches as the Yale Writers’ Conference. A MakeWork Artist Grant and Tennessee Indiviual Artists Grant recipient, she is Fiction Editor at Drunken Boat
