Allen Wier pub. four novels, two books of stories, and ed. two other books. He’s had Guggenheim, NEA, and Dobie-Paisano fellowships. He was awarded the Dos Passos Prize for Literature and the Robert Penn Warren award.Prof. Emeritus at U. of TN, Knoxville, he’s Visiting Writer at Murray State U.
