Katharine Haake’s work includes two 2024 prize-winning books, What Happened Was (eco fiction), The Heaviness of Ghosts (essays), and five prior books of fiction. A professor emerita at CSU Northridge, she is a founding member of What Books Press, an imprint of Los Angeles's Glass Table Collective.
