An award-winning essayist, poet, and translator, Daniel Simon is the editor in chief of World Literature Today magazine at the University of Oklahoma, where he also serves on the affiliate faculty in English, International Studies, and Judaic Studies. His third collection of poems, Under a Gathering Sky, is forthcoming from SFA Press in April 2024. . He is a member of the Academy of American Poets, PEN America, and Nebraska Center for the Book.
