Alderworks Alaska Writers & Artists Retreat offers summer residencies in three restored log cabins on a family homestead along West Creek in the beautiful Dyea valley near Skagway, Alaska.
Applications are accepted Nov. 15 to Feb. 15 for the upcoming summer's residency periods. Residencies are four-to-six weeks long. Fees are very reasonable with the idea that if we give writers and artists a quiet, beautiful spot to create or enhance their works, then wonderful things will happen. There will be only one residency period in early summer 2023 (construction on property late summer-fall).
