No-Refund Policy
All transactions are nonrefundable and nontransferable, unless separately noted. This includes (but is not limited to):
- memberships of any kind
- subscriptions to The Writer’s Chronicle
- donations
- submission fees
- Writer to Agent: Summer Edition registration
- advertisements

Cancellations
You may cancel your AWP membership or subscription to The Writer’s Chronicle at any time; however, please be aware that an early cancellation will not result in the refund of any fees. To cancel your subscription, send your request to [email protected].
Automatic Renewal and Recurring Donations
During the checkout stage of your initial purchase, you have the option to set up an automatic renewal of your membership/subscription and/or recurring donations to AWP. Should you decide to cancel a recurring donation or automatic membership/subscription renewal, you must do so fifteen days before the next scheduled payment to avoid being charged. To cancel, visit the Transactions tab of your profile and make any changes necessary under the “Automatic Payment Information” section.
Conference & Bookfair Policy
Conference Attendee Registration
Conference registration sales are final and nonrefundable. Please see the conference platform to view the full Attendee Terms & Conditions. A registration may be transferred to another individual provided this individual is not already registered, the registration is used for the same conference, and the individual qualifies for the type of registration being transferred. For example, a student registration can only be transferred to another student. For more information about registration transfers, please contact [email protected].
Bookfair Exhibit & Performance Space
All bookfair exhibit space and performance space is final and nonrefundable upon submission of the Bookfair Exhibitor Agreement to AWP. Please see the conference platform to view the full Exhibitor Terms & Conditions. This includes all exhibit space (i.e., booth and table exhibits, performance space, and displays, as well as the bookfair stage). Exhibit space shall also be interpreted to mean any meeting rooms or other function space at an event venue used by an exhibitor for exhibits.
