Jordan Hill is a literary agent at New Leaf Literary and Media who represents genre and upmarket fiction for children and adults, often in the SFF and horror spaces. Whether through relationships, plot, or conflict, books on her list often address the question, All hope is lost, what now? 

She’s not afraid of the dark and loves stories that grapple with the complexities of family and culture through time. She’s particularly drawn to unreliable narrators, female wit and rage, bodies of water as foreboding, and eruptive moments of catharsis. Levity is always welcome, but not a must. She also considers historical fiction or retellings with a fresh approach and compelling perspective. 

Before agenting, she worked in advertising and, before that, was an indie bookseller. She hails from Texas but has made her home in Brooklyn.
