This 4-day/night immersion experience provides master classes, guided writing, workshops and excursions for students who have completed 10th, 11th and 12th grade interested in all areas of creative writing.

Summer Writing Retreat at Bryn Athyn College

August 1-5 2019 This hybrid 4-day/night immersion combines the most desirable elements of both writing conferences and retreats.

WRITING--The writing instruction includes professional, workshop-style manuscript evaluation, multi-genre master classes, guided writing sessions and an industry agent/editor/publicist Q&A panel and pitch session.

RETREAT--With residences in the four charming stone cottages, the retreat incorporates yoga for all levels, evening meditation, fresh fare, wine tasting, excursions in the Pennypack Nature Preserve, tours of the local Glencairn Museum and gothic Bryn Athyn Cathedral, and more.
