The Cuyahoga County Public Library's William N. Skirball Writers' Center is a welcoming space for writers in northern Ohio. It offers free writing programs, private writing rooms, books and magazines for writers, laptop computers, and a light-filled area with comfortable furniture and a fireplace. It opened in October 2015 and is located in the South Euclid-Lyndhurst Branch library at 1876 South Green Road in South Euclid, Ohio.

Cuyahoga County Public Library (CCPL), with 27 branches serving 47 communities in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio, consistently ranks as one of the nation's ten busiest and best library systems. For ten consecutive years, it has received the highest overall score in Library Journal’s Index of Public Library Service. CCPL also received a five-star rating for the ninth consecutive year, joining only four other library systems in its peer group to receive the LJ Index’s highest honor. The Library's mission is to be at the center of community life by providing an environment where reading, lifelong learning and civic engagement thrive.
