The 2019 ASLE Biennial Conference will be held at the University of California, Davis. Full Call for Papers will be issued in July, 2018.

The 2019 Association for the Study of Literature and Environment conference will again feature a wide range of keynote speakers, a variety of field excursions, evening events, and concurrent sessions.

The university is located in Davis, a vibrant college town of about 68,000 located in Yolo County. The state capital is 20 minutes away, and world-class destinations such as the San Francisco Bay Area, Lake Tahoe and the Napa Valley are within a two-hour drive. The City of Davis is home to one the nation’s first and best farmer’s markets, the US Bicycling Hall of Fame, several pioneering organic farms, a popular grocery Co-op (est.

1972), and a host of environmental nonprofits.
