A full day of instruction and camaraderie on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Small classes, top writing faculty, and intensive Master Classes and breakout sessions in fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and publishing. Other features include faculty readings, on-site "Lunch with an Author," publisher exhibits, Slush Pile Live!, and an open mic for conference participants.
The North Carolina Writers’ Network Spring Conference will be held on April 27 at the Moore Humanities and Research Administration Building on the campus of the University of North Carolina in Greensboro. The conference features intensive workshops in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, as well as publisher exhibits, "Lunch With an Author," readings, an open mic, and the annual "Slush Pile Live!" Poet and essayist Michael McFee will deliver the keynote.

We provide education in the craft and business of writing, opportunities for recognition and critique of literary work, resources for writers at all stages of development, support for and advocacy of the literary heritage of North Carolina, and a community for those who write. Membership is open to all writers, whatever their genres, goals, or locations.
