Poetry at Round Top is an annual festival presenting the nation’s most exciting and prominent poets over three days of readings, workshops, and conversations on craft in a lovely and eccentric country garden setting.

The festival takes place on the beautiful grounds of Festival Hill in Round Top, TX, located in the rolling hills between Austin and Houston. Featured poets have included W.S. Merwin, Robert Hass, Naomi Shihab Nye, Li-Young Lee, Carolyn Forsché, Kwame Dawes, Tony Hoagland, Terrance Hayes, Linda Gregg, Pattiann Rogers, Dorianne Laux, Nick Flynn, Mark Doty, Martín Espada, Dean Young, Brigit Pegeen Kelly, Marie Howe, Ted Kooser, Carmen Tafolla, Chase Twitchell, Adam Zagajewski, Kazim Ali, Lorna Dee Cervantes, Cyrus Cassells, Jane Hirshfield, Joy Harjo, Gregory Orr, Jericho Brown, Eduardo C.
