Bread Loaf in Sicily
This intensive program provides a small group of writers with a concentrated and personalized Bread Loaf experience.
Bread Loaf in Sicily takes place in Erice, an ancient, hilltop town on the western coast of Sicily. The program features five workshops with six participants in each group. The workshops meet four times (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday) and are supplemented with individual conferences. Faculty give a reading and offer a craft class or lecture for all members of the conference. Workshop participants are invited to share their work in an evening reading for Bread Loafers.
Featured Writers Include:
The 2014 faculty includes poets Linda Bierds and Michael Collier; fiction writers Stacey D’Erasmo and Jay Parini; and nonfiction writer Jane Brox.
