AWP is pleased to announce the promotion of Colleen Cable to become Associate Director of Conferences. In her new role, Colleen will oversee and support Events & Registration staff, arrange conference logistics, and assist with future conference contracting. Colleen will also continue developing conference accessibility initiatives and programs with the Accessibility Ad Hoc Committee, in addition to pursuing certification as an ADA Coordinator.

 

Colleen joined AWP in 2016 as the Conference Events Coordinator. She earned her MFA in creative writing in 2016 from the University of Maryland, and her B.A. in English from Gettysburg College in 2013.
