The organizer of “Endings for the End Times?” replaced Anna March on the panel immediately when she became aware of Anna’s past interactions with the literary community. Social media reaction to the knowledge that Anna March had been included as a presenter at #AWP19 was swift and filled with outrage. This outrage was fueled by the recent LA Times story about Anna March and her hidden past. AWP is sharing the story as a service to our membership and all those writers who could be potentially taken in by another Anna March scheme.
