Nelson Smith Wins 2004 Margolis Award.

Nelson Smith, essayist and freelance writer, is the recipient of the 2004 Richard J. Margolis Award, given annually to a promising nonfiction writer whose work combines warmth, humor, wisdom, and concern with social justice. The 2004 award is accompanied by a $5,000 honorarium and a one-month residency at Blue Mountain Center, the award’s sponsor, in New York.
