Writers Conference in Canada

From May 10 through May 13, the city of Toronto will be home to the 2012 Canadian Creative Writers and Writing Programs (CCWWP) Conference. Students, teachers, authors, and readers will convene for the support and celebration of the many forms of writing. Events will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, readings, pedagogical discourse, receptions, and more.

Keynote speeches and presentations will come from acclaimed author, Tim O’Brien; Executive Director of AWP, David Fenza; and novelist and travel-writer, Will Ferguson. The conference will be held primarily at the Lakeshore campus of Humber College, on the scenic grounds of a former psychiatric hospital. The evening and nighttime events will occur in downtown Toronto.
