Residential program

The English Department offers a Creative Writing Concentration that allows certain students to intensify and focus their English majors by taking a series of practice-based writing courses along with their literature courses. The creative writing concentrator undertakes a twelve-course English major instead of the usual ten courses. Three of these courses must be writing workshops in any genre, selected with the help of the student's concentration advisor.
