Residential programCalifornia State University, Chico offers the Bachelor of Arts in English Studies with a Creative Writing minor and the Master of Arts with an emphasis in Creative Writing.
Our graduate program is a 30-unit course of study, designed to be completed in two academic years. In creative writing, we offer instruction in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction. Teaching associates serve as Instructor of Record and can train to teach in three areas: composition studies, literature, and creative writing. Fellowships and other forms of financial aid are possible.
