Christopher J. Adamson is a poet and essayist. Born and raised non-Mormon in Salt Lake City, Utah, he holds an MFA in poetry from Vanderbilt University and is a graduate of both the journalism and creative writing programs at Northwestern University. His poetry, creative nonfiction, and criticism have appeared or are forthcoming in ZYZZYVA, Southwest Review, West Branch, Boston Review, The Seattle Review, Prelude, Transom, The Iowa Review, and the 2016 Orison Anthology, among other publications. He lives with his husband in Oakland, California.
