Elise Blackwell

Elise Blackwell is the author of four novels. Her books have been translated into several languages and named to various best-of-the year lists, including the Los Angeles Times and Sydney Morning Herald. Her short stories and cultural criticism have been published by the Atlantic, Witness, Seed, Chronicle of Higher Education, and other literary journals and magazines. She currently directs the MFA program at the University of South Carolina.
